Julia Vaughan

Julia Vaughan is a seasoned educator with over 20 years of experience.. She earned an undergraduate degree in English Literature from Lenoir Rhyne and then received a Masters degree in Teaching from UNCC. She has taught students from K-Community College in Reading and English instruction and has served three years as an administrator. Julia loves helping to see education initiatives reach fruition and seeing students overcome obstacles and become confident in their abilities to learn.

Julia lives with her husband (Brian), two teens (Liz and Mikey),  in Asheville, NC, and they enjoy spending time listening to music, taking hikes, traveling, writing, and riding bikes in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Additionally, Julia loves to bake, garden, and make candles.
