Compassion Fund

Creating an environment where children can fully engage in learning is vital, and this can be achieved by eliminating major distractions like hunger, home stress, and discomfort. We want to do what we can to assist in either providing or finding aid to assist our community when they are met with struggles.

The Compassion Fund supports our Evergreen families in a variety of ways. We provide meals in times of illness or bereavement. We supplement monthly rent, utilities or car repair for families facing hardship. During the holiday season, we connect families within our community to provide gifts for children of Evergreen.

Resources From the Business Office

Keeping track of your Evergreen school fees, registering for lunches and Everafter, and making payments just got easier. Register for a My School Bucks Account and use your student’s name/s and birthdate/s to register your family.

Applying for Financial Assistance

This year we are using a Google form. Please complete the request HERE. You will need to upload your most recently filed tax return (Pgs 1 & 2 ONLY) or the most recent two months of pay stubs. If you cannot upload, please email them to me. Paper forms are available in the office if you prefer to complete a paper form.

If there are any extenuating circumstances, please detail them in the notes section (ie. your income was higher for 2023 on your tax return but your situation has changed).

Important information - PLEASE READ:

  • Please apply now even if you ONLY need financial assistance for your child's end of year trip

  • Deadlines:

    • October 31, 2024 to be retro to August

    • December 31, 2024 for assistance starting from request date

    • All year for families that experience a change in their financial situation at any time during the school year

  • Evergreen cannot at this time offer 100% assistance, but we do offer several different levels between 80% assistance and 34% assistance

Garrett’s Law

Garrett’s law was enacted in 2004.  It mandates schools provide parents and guardians with information about meningococcal meningitis and influenza and the vaccines that protect against these diseases. The law was expanded in 2007 to mandate that information also be provided about human papillomavirus (HPV) and the vaccines available to protect against HPV.
