Community Circles
Community Circles are held 3-4x throughout the school year. They are a way to bring together the entire school community. Families are welcome to attend.
These are commonly held around Constitution Day, Martin Luther King Day, and Earth Day as a way to introduce students to discussing themes like: civic engagement, equity, environmental stewardship, and service.
Community Circles are student-led, with a different grade level leading each event. Student presenters may lead with song, discussion, a presentation, or ask the student body to discuss and issue and present ideas. Community Circles are a great place for students to practice public speaking/ presentation skills in a supportive environment.
Community Circles may be used as a way to collect goods for donation to area non-profits.
