Nutrition at Evergreen

We want all of our scholars to have access to nutritious foods through out the school day so that they can concentrate on creating quality work! Breakfast and Lunch as well as snack items are available through our Nutrition Program.

Breakfast will be available daily in the Elementary Foyer (where students enter the building in the morning) from 8:10-8:30am.

Lunch

Evergreen is again participated in the hot lunch program from Equal Plates Project for the 2023-2024 school year. Equal Plates Project serves as a link between local farmers and the greater WNC community to bring high quality meals to area charter schools and other non-profit organizations. Meals are prepared in partnership with Southside Kitchen, which is part of Green Opportunities’ job training program.

Lunches should be preordered on MyPaymentsPlus. Information about setting up your account can be found here. Meals for each week MUST be pre-ordered by noon the Monday of the previous week.

Snack 

Assorted snacks will be available to purchase at the front desk from 9-1 daily. Milk (1% and skim) and sunbutter and jelly sandwiches are also available for purchase.
