Hunter Holland

 

 Hunter received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Fairmont State University and a Master’s in Education/Counseling from Western Carolina University. She is licensed in NC as a School Counselor and Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. Hunter is new to Evergreen this year and has enjoyed building strong relationships with the community of staff, students, and families. Prior to joining Evergreen, Hunter has provided mental health support to children, young adults, and families since 2016 in a variety of capacities including: school settings, wilderness therapy programs, transition homes, and crisis centers.

Outside of school hours, Hunter likes to explore the surrounding mountains and towns with her husband and three-legged dog, Huckleberry, who often joins in on the fun at Evergreen. She also enjoys spending time with her close friends and cherished family, traveling around the world, backpacking/thru hiking/hitchhiking, swimming in freshwater rivers, taking a siesta, trying her hand at gardening, and cooking up yummy dinners!
