Laura grew up in Greensboro, NC. After graduating from Appalachian State University with a degree in Health Promotion, she earned her teaching license and M.A. in Elementary Education from UNC-Greensboro. After teaching 1st grade for 13 years, Laura stayed home to take care of her 2 daughters, Georgia and Camille. Laura has been working in the “Fabulous World of Kindergarten” since 2018. Her two girls are currently in 7th and 6th grade at Evergreen. In her free time, Laura enjoys camping and traveling with her husband, children, and sweet Boykin Spaniel, Lucy. She also likes to run, hike, and explore this beautiful part of the state that we live in!
