Laura has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and a Masters in Library Sciences. She has been the Evergreen Librarian since 2006. Laura grew up in Morganton, NC and worked for many years as a wildlife rehabilitator.

She is passionate about childrens' books, reading out loud, and finding the right book for the right person at the right time. Laura loves animals, gardening, reading, and traveling as much as possible. Bucket list - Antarctica!
