Not everyone has the joy of saying “yes” to their dream job- but I do! Being a 3rd grade teacher is such a gift to me. My journey to the classroom was an organic one filled with mountains and valleys. The path wasn’t one I’d ever thought I would have chosen, but as I followed each open door, one step at a time, I found myself exactly where I needed to be: here!

I was born and raised in Georgia where I fell in love with the natural world, teaching, and my life partner. My husband and I moved to Asheville August of 2020, which is when I also began my time with Evergreen. In my recreational time, I love to park-rollerskate, climb, kayak, read, create, and spend quality time with the people I love most.
