Sara Goodwin

Sara lives on a 10-acre farm in Asheville with her husband and two children. Over the years, the farm has been home to various livestock, including goats, pigs, dairy cows, chickens, and turkeys. Sara holds an A.S. in Horticultural Technology and a B.S. in Agricultural Education. She is a certified plant professional, herbalist, and farmer. On their family farm, Sara conducts workshops on ethical foraging practices, plant medicine, and native plants in the landscape. When she’s not in the garden, you can find her camping by a lake. Sara loves the laughter and uniqueness that children bring to this world. She is proud to serve her community as a math and science associate teacher.
