Toerin Kintner

Toerin has been a member of the Evergreen staff community for over 17 years. She has been an EC teacher with Evergreen for most of that time. Before that she was a parent at Evergreen. Both of her children were Everlasters, Kindergarten to 8th grade graduates.

Toerin received her degree as an Exceptional Children teacher from James Madison University in Virginia. She has lived in Asheville for over 26 years. She has traveled the United States extensively and has also traveled abroad. She has a special place in her heart for Guatemala, Central America where she lived and worked for too short of a time.

She is married and the kids are in college now (Go Pack!). She loves to travel, take hikes in the mountains, read, and search for wildflowers!
